Inspector Bradstreet is a character in The Mary Morstan Mysteries (as well as the original stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle) and was portrayed by Peter Stanford. He joined the Metropolitan Police in 1862, and is known to have served in the original Bow Street Runners on E Division.
He is a loud, blustering and occasionally absent minded man, but one who works hard to bring a case to a conclusion and justice. Sadly, this often results in him taking evidence at face value too easily.
He appears in the episode "Murder Most Horace" (Series 2, Episode 3) investigating a case of assault and suspected murder, which eventually winds up being mistakenly pinned on Mary Morstan's alter ego - Horace Moustachio.
