Reverend Archdale is a character in the NPLH universe portrayed by Danny D'anzieri .
He is the villain of the episode "Holmes in Time For Christmas" (Dec 2010) and has a twisted hate of all things Christmas. He is the ultimate Grinch, devising ways to murder villagers using Christmas themed items such as being choked to death by a stocking.
He hopes his campaign of terror will cause people to forget the commercialism of Christmas and flock back to the Church for protection, but his schemes are eventually detected and halted by Holmes and Irene Adler.
The character also appears prominently in the novelization of the episode.
